How to take your measurements
Seven measurements, five minutes, and a dress cut for you alone.

A made-to-measure piece begins with a tape measure. It takes about five minutes, and you only need to do it once: save your measurements to your account and they are ready for every future order.
Before you start
Use a soft tape, wear something light and fitted, and stand as you naturally do. The tape should sit flat against the body, snug without pulling.
The measurements
Bust, waist and hips are taken around the body at its fullest point (bust and hips) and its narrowest (waist), with the tape parallel to the floor.
Shoulder width runs across the back between the two shoulder edges. Sleeve length follows the arm from that shoulder edge to the wrist bone, with the elbow slightly bent.
Dress length is the one that decides where your hem falls: measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the floor, then subtract what you would like to show of your shoe.
If you are unsure about a number, measure twice, and if you are still unsure, write to us. We would rather ask than guess.
