Modest sets: co-ords, abaya sets and Umrah sets

A set is the simplest way to dress: the pieces are made to go together, so the outfit is decided before you start. This page brings together every set of ours, whichever part of the shop it sits in.

There are three kinds. Co-ords pair a top, shirt or tunic with a maxi skirt or trousers. Abaya sets combine an abaya or throw-over with a slip dress, an apron piece or a belt, in two or three pieces. Prayer sets are made for Umrah and Hajj, some with a khimar. The name and description of each set say which pieces it includes.

Most sets come in US sizes 4 to 18, and most can be made to your own measurements.

What is the difference between a set and separates?

A set is bought as one piece, with its parts cut to match. Separates are tops, skirts and trousers sold on their own, to mix with what you already have.

Which set for Umrah?

The prayer sets are made for it, and the two- and three-piece abayas in crease-resistant fabric travel well. Our guide to what to wear for Umrah has a packing list, and prayer wear has every prayer gown and abaya for the journey.

Which size should I choose?

Compare your bust, waist and hips with the size guide, which also gives the EU and UK equivalent of every size. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger. For an exact fit, most sets can be made to measure; allow 14 extra working days, and note that a made-to-measure piece cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I return a set?

A standard-size set can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn, unwashed and with its tags. The details are on the returns page.
