Modest maxi dresses, cut for coverage and ease

The dresses in this collection are designed for modest dressing from the first sketch: long sleeves, long hemlines and a relaxed line that skims the body rather than clinging to it.

The fabric decides how a dress moves. Chiffon is light and floating, and carries most of our floral prints. Crepe is matte and fluid, the everyday choice. Satin has a soft sheen for evenings, weddings and Eid. You will also find cotton and jersey for relaxed days, and lace and pleated styles for occasions. For a celebration, start with the evening edit or the floral edit.

Most dresses come in US sizes 4 to 18, and some styles from US 2 or up to US 22. Most can also be made to your own measurements.

Which size should I choose?

Our dresses are labelled in US sizes and cut with a relaxed, modest fit. Compare your bust, waist and hips with the size guide, which also gives the EU and UK equivalent of every size. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger.

Can a dress be made to my measurements?

Most of them can. Choose Custom measurements on the product page and enter the measurements that dress asks for. A made-to-measure piece needs 14 extra working days before it is dispatched, and because it is made for you alone it cannot be returned or exchanged; if something is not right, we put it right.

Do I need a slip under a chiffon dress?

Light fabrics such as chiffon are sheer by nature, and each product page describes the fabric of that dress. Our slip dresses are made to be worn underneath sheer dresses and open abayas.

Can I return a dress?

A standard-size dress can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn, unwashed and with its tags. The details are on the returns page.

Do you have modest dresses under $100?

Yes. Dresses start at $66 and run to $145; most sit between $100 and $140, with lined chiffon and satin at the upper end.

Are your dresses lined?

Most chiffon dresses are lined, many with soft cotton; crepe and jersey dresses are often unlined. Each product page says which, and our slip dresses are there for any dress that needs one.
